Michael Schmidt came to Ottawa to help Mark in Court. Mark was expected to plead guilty to the crime of killing a pig for his own consumption. Mark said no to pleading guilty. Michael told the justice of the peace that he was not a lawyer but a friend of Mark's and said he and Mark would need 8 weeks of time because it was Mark's wish to file a "Notice of Constitutional Question" and they would need that time to prepare the submission.
