Elizabeth Nixon on Surviving Sustainability by Shirley Dolan

Published December 1, 2015

Many of you will have read Elizabeth Nixon’s book Eco-Fascists: How Radical Conservationists are Destroying Our Natural Heritage. The book explains how the environmental movement has driven tens of millions of rural dwellers off their land in North America and the developing world and how the movement has collapsed the rural economy.

Many of the examples used came from the United States. Ms. Nixon, a Senior Fellow at the Canadian Centre for Public Policy, has now written a paper on the sustainability movement from the Ontario perspective. You can read this paper at https://www.fcpp.org/Surviving_Sustainability_Towards_Enduring_Prosperity.
